China Sencha Green Tea
This Chinese Sencha has small, flatly pressed, dark green leaves. It will surprise you with its fresh aroma and gentle taste. This tea is special in that it can be brewed several times, simply remove the leaves from the hot water after one and a half minutes, the second infusion, remove the leaves after two minutes. The first brewing will be more potent but the second and third more flavourful.
How to make the perfect cup of Tea;
When making Specialist Green Tea, the method and actually making the tea is all part of the experience. Brewing time is between 1,5 – 2 minutes at about 65 – 75 degrees Centigrade. After that time, separate the leaves from the infusion! You can brew this tea several times
Now the not too difficult bit, just below or near boiling is best. But why controversy to this, it is well known that boiled water is best? And how do you get near boiling water?. Boiling water was always used in the century’s past as they knew boiling water would not be harmful, it would kill off any bad bacteria that may have been around and caused sickness. It is also easy to tell when the water was at temperature due to the boil. A little harder for them to guess at 75oC. To achieve near boiling water; the efficient yet pricy method is to buy a modern kettle that allows you to select the temperature of the water, or, simply add a little cool water to the pot just before adding the boiling water.
